Todo esto viene xq a un colega le ha pasado y por no bajarnos la iso trasteamos hasta encontrar esto y funciona!!!(version 10.5)
Mac OS X 10.5: tras una instalación de actualización, no es posible iniciar sesión en la cuenta
Síntomas
Es posible que no pueda iniciar sesión en la cuenta si la contraseña tiene 8 caracteres o más y se creó originalmente en Mac OS X 10.2.8 o una versión anterior, tras llevar a cabo una instalación de actualización de Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard (el tipo de instalación predeterminado).
Nota: si, una vez instalado Leopard, no puede iniciar una sesión en una cuenta que no tenga contraseña, consulte este artículo.

Resolución
Si puede iniciar sesión o en caso de que ya la haya iniciado
Descargue e instale Login & Keychain Update 1.0 para Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard a fin de evitar que este problema se produzca posteriormente.
Si no puede iniciar la sesión
siga los pasos que se indican a continuación.
- Reinicie en modo Usuario único (mantenga pulsado el Comando-S durante el arranque). Tenga en cuenta que el modo de usuario único utiliza siempre la distribución de teclado en inglés (EE.UU.).
- Cuando se le solicite, escriba: mount -uw /
- Pulse la tecla Retorno
- Escriba:
launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.DirectoryServices.plist
- Pulse la tecla Retorno
- Escriba:
dscl . -delete /Users/nombreusuario AuthenticationAuthority
Nota: Sustituya "nombreusuario" por el nombre abreviado de la cuenta de usuario afectada - Pulse la tecla Retorno
- Escriba: passwd nombreusuario
Nota: Sustituya "nombreusuario" por el nombre abreviado de la cuenta de usuario afectada - Pulse la tecla Retorno
- Cuando se le solicite la "Nueva contraseña", escriba la contraseña del usuario
Nota: Se recomienda que se utilice la contraseña original del usuario para hacerla coincidir con la contraseña del llavero - Pulse la tecla Retorno
- Cuando se le solicite que "Vuelva a escribir la nueva contraseña", introduzca la misma contraseña.
- Pulse la tecla Retorno
- Escriba: reboot
- Pulse la tecla Retorno
